Δ READING CLUB AT THE WELTKULTUREN MUSEUM: DECOLONIZATION AS HEALING?

    With Amelie Kleinhubbert (Cultural mediator)
Accompanying the exhibition "healing. Life in Balance"

In the reading club "Decolonization as Healing?", texts are read and discussed together that are based on themes from the exhibition "healing. Live in Balance". Colonial continuities in everyday life and how to deal with them are the focus. What role does colonialism play in the museum? How is our idea of nature colonially shaped? What can healing mean?

At this meeting, we will read contemporary poems that deal with the consequences of colonialism and opportunities for healing. Anybody who couldn’t be there the first and second time is also most welcome to join now. You will receive details of the reading material when you book your place.
