Cooperation with Junges Schauspiel Frankfurt

What happens when museum and theatre meet? WORLDS IN MOTION becomes an inspiration for a youth performance. Between self-positioning and ascription, the Schauspiel Frankfurt negotiates cultural identities, traces the routes of exhibits, and investigates the driving force of the motor of migration.

After last year’s dance tours and dance performances in GREY IS THE NEW PINK, we continue with theatre: The museum starts the new year with a cooperation with the Schauspiel Frankfurt. Taking the exhibition as a starting point, the young ensemble of performers explores the phenomenon of cultural exchange and brings the results on the “stage” of the exhibition at the Weltkulturen Museum in January and February.

This is why it’s getting loud this week at the museum: The young participants of SWOP rehearse in WORLDS IN MOTION: Only two weeks are left to the premiere and the first three performances are already sold out!

SOLD OUT. Maybe leftover tickets at the box office at Weltkulturen Museum.

SWOP ist a cooperation project with the Weltkulturen Museum’s education programme.

Concept and direction: Martina Droste and Anna Stoß (Junges Schauspiel)
