MUSEUMSUFERFEST 2026

During the final weekend of the exhibition “Sheroes. Comic Art from Africa”, we are once again offering an extensive programme as part of the Museumsuferfest.

Short guided tours:

Friday 28 August at 3.30 pm (English) and 6.30 pm (German) Saturday 29 August at 3.30 pm (guided tour by the curators in German) and 6.30 pm (English) Sunday 30 August at 12.30 pm (Italian) and 3.30 pm (German)

Pop-up exhibition:

Comic art from Frankfurt Prison Over a period of three years, illustrator Patricia Thoma has worked with prisoners from various German prisons, creating comics together with them. As part of the Museumsuferfest, drawings by women created at the mother-and-child home within Frankfurt Prison will be on display.

Open comic workshop:

Alongside the pop-up exhibition, all visitors can draw their own SHERO comic selfie with the help of Patricia Thoma. Saturday 29 August, 3 pm – 6 pm and Sunday 30 August, 1 pm – 4 pm
