NIGHT OF THE MUSEUMS
The exhibition on Australian rock paintings at the Weltkulturen Museum, Schaumainkai 29, can be experienced in five languages during the Night of the Museums. The focus is on rock paintings that are thousands of years old and contemporary perspectives on the cultural heritage of indigenous Australians.
At Villa Schaumankai 37, the building itself will be made to speak: stories about the museum will encourage dialogue. A ‘no-input mixing’ concert and workshops will focus on sounds that are only created through feedback.
DJane CarolitaLApomba will accompany the evening from 10 pm.
