Collaborations

Collaborating with international partners from the communities and countries of origin of the museum’s collection, as well as with artists, academics and diaspora groups, is essential to the Weltkulturen Museum. We therefore works closely with its partners and actively incorporates their perspectives into our work. Through interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange, colonial perspectives are challenged and diverse voices are brought to the fore. In this way, the museum becomes a vibrant place of encounter, cultural diversity and global networking.

Several studios and two guest apartments in the museum buildings on Schaumainkai provide ideal conditions for the exchange of knowledge and collaboration on research, exhibitions and events (see also Guests).  On this page, we present some of our current and past collaborations.
